H.O.P.E. in Action. Survivors Leading the Way.

At H.O.P.E. Wins Detroit, survivors are at the heart of everything we do. We create spaces where individuals impacted by crime and violence can heal, be heard, and rediscover their strength. Together with our community partners, we support survivors in transforming their experiences into leadership, advocacy, lasting change and healing.

Upcoming Events

March

This month, we honor the strength, resilience, and leadership of women, especially survivors, who continue to heal, rise, and lead change in their communities.

At H.O.P.E. Wins Detroit, we believe in creating spaces where women are supported, empowered, and recognized as leaders in their own healing and in shaping a more just and compassionate future.

Crime Victims’ Rights Week is a time to recognize and uplift the voices of survivors while recommitting to systems that are responsive, equitable, and trauma-informed.

H.O.P.E. Wins Detroit is dedicated to ensuring survivors of crime have access to the support, resources, and advocacy they deserve. We believe survivors should not only be supported, but empowered to shape the policies, practices, and communities that impact their lives.

Together, we can build a future where every survivor is seen, heard, and supported.

April

This Sexual Violence Awareness Month, H.O.P.E. Wins Detroit stands in solidarity with survivors, honoring their strength, resilience, and right to healing, safety, and justice.

We recognize that sexual violence impacts individuals, families, and communities, often in ways that are unseen and deeply personal. Survivors deserve to be believed, supported, and empowered; not only in their healing journeys, but in shaping the systems meant to protect and serve them.

At H.O.P.E. Wins Detroit, we are committed to creating survivor-centered, trauma-informed spaces where individuals can reclaim their voice, restore their sense of dignity, and access pathways to healing and opportunity.

This month and every month, we affirm: survivors are not alone, and their voices matter.

H.O.P.E. Wins Detroit stands alongside survivors of crime and violence, creating pathways to healing, empowerment, and opportunity. Through survivor-centered support, restorative healing practices, and strong community partnerships, we help individuals reclaim their voices, rebuild their lives, and lead meaningful change in their families and communities.
