H.O.P .E. Wins Detroit, Inc.
H.O.P .E. Wins Detroit, Inc. was born from lived experience—not theory, not statistics, but survival.
As a survivor, I know firsthand what it means to navigate fear, silence, and systems that are often confusing,
overwhelming, or inaccessible. I also know how powerful it can be when someone shows up with compassion,
listens without judgment, and helps you find your next step forward.
For many years, I carried my experience quietly while learning how advocacy, education, and resource access could
save lives. Along the way, I saw gaps that survivors fall through every day—especially when it comes to confidential
support, safety planning, and navigating programs meant to protect us. H.O.P .E. Wins Detroit, Inc. exists because those gaps should not exist.
This organization is intentionally survivor- and lived-experience-led. That means decisions are made with care,
empathy, and an understanding of trauma that cannot be taught in textbooks alone. Survivor leadership here is not
symbolic—it is essential. Our work is grounded in integrity, compassion, and respect, and in the belief that
survivors deserve dignity, autonomy, and real choices.
Through advocacy, education, and connection to critical resources—including crisis services and Address
Confidentiality Program navigation—H.O.P .E. Wins Detroit, Inc. is committed to helping people endure, heal, and
reclaim their power.
This work is deeply personal to me, but it is also collective. It belongs to every survivor who deserves to be seen,
supported, and believed, and to every community willing to stand alongside them.
With hope and purpose,
Founder H.O.P .E. Wins Detroit, Inc.
